Following the success of the past three editions, Playing The Game – the free public event devoted to the conversations between video games, arts and cultures – returns to Milan.
Sunday, November 30 Playing The Game presents Outré Videogames, a compendium of eccentric, unusual and unconventional games never appeared in Italy.
Those videogames will be playable for free, together with international indie games which will be presented for the first time ever.
During the evening will be presented the catalog of the exhibition-event held at HangarBicocca in the Milan Games Week 2014 frame. There will be game designers, curators and artists who will discuss the main topic of the selection, focused on trying to go against the more typical conventions of video games: the need to accumulate points and pass levels in order to win the game.
The free public event will be held at Santeria, 8 Via Ettore Paladini, Milan (Italy).
Playing The Game offers the possibility to contribute to the catalog by sending a short essay (2500 characters) addressing the issue at the center of the selection from brilliant points of view.
