These days, as we wrote in the previous post, we are working at full speed on the print publication linked to Playing The Game 2014 event held in the spaces of Pirelli HangarBicocca on October 23, 2014, at the opening of Milan Games Week.
We gave the opportunity to a large audience to try a selection of video games united by the absence of scores and levels – we wrote about this in a previous post.
The print publication will help to further investigate these issues and will contain all the texts in Italian and English. Let’s see together what will be composed by:
- exclusive interviews with the developers of the proposed indie games [Alex Kriss (Progression), ceMelusine (ΘRΑΩLE), Davey Wreden (The Stanley Parable), Ed Key (Proteus), Richard E. Flanagan (Fract OSC), Sander van der Vegte (Autopret), Tale of Tales (The Graveyard)];
- descriptions of all the presented games;
- contributions written by international personalities that cover the subject from multiple viewpoints (Adela Muntean, Claudio Musso, Federica Fiumelli, Francesco Tenaglia, Giorgia Noto, Giulia Incani, Giuliano Tarlao, Michelle & Marc Ouellette, Paolo Mele, Paul Booth, Stephanie Vie).
You can follow a preview of the processing steps of the publication by subscribing to our newsletter, a tool through which will spread exclusive information before they’re on blogs and social networks. This means that we will use it only for the most interesting communication for those who follow us.
Finally, we remind you that we have created a small page about the publication, we consider it a work in progress that we’re going to update over the next few weeks, here it is:
